Sought after Australian ready to wear label Zimmermann , designed by sister Nicky and Simone Zimmermann, once again turned to Zoya Nail Polish to deliver a one-of-a-kind show look for their SS15 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in the Pavilion venue.
At the designers request for a nail conveying a mystic essence with curves and feminine shapes, Angel Williams (Lead Manicurist) and Rebecca Isa (Zoya Creative Director) joined forces to create a unique nail look using Zoya Nail Polish in Ziv, a liquid metal gold nail polish and negative nail space. Isa described the look as a “naked teardrop” which was placed slightly off center on the nail. Toes were painted with a solid cover of Ziv. The outcome was pure Zoya and pure Zimmermann as it echoed the soft watery ribbons of shimmering and sheer layered fabrics shown on the runway to perfection.
Isa recommends painting the curve of the teardrop first, and then filling in behind the curve with color. To finish apply Zoya Armor topcoatand Zoya Fast Drops to create your own mystical essence.

"Rebecca said after different variations on designs, the team landed on using Zoya Ziv, a two-tone gold that came out for Holiday 2012 and nail art using negative space in a nontraditional way. Ziv really fit the silver and gold accents in Zmmermann's SS15 fashion, Rebecca said, and the naked teardrop design fit in with the curves of the clothing." - Beauty Judy
